Gym Plus brings in heavy weights
with Mr Universe
Sheffield United's Gym Plus is bringing in the heavy weights after the visit of Mr Universe.
Gym Plus has invested in high intensity weights to cater for an international bodybuilder recently crowned Mr Universe, AKA, Dave Titterton, from South Yorkshire.
The 33-year-old was a recent visitor and joined a growing number of muscle busting gym users within Sheffield's Copthorne Hotel.
Blades beauty shapes up at Gym Plus
Gym Plus is helping to get Miss Sheffield in tip-top shape ready for the national finals next year.
Lifelong Blades fan Eleanor James, 20, from Crookes, was crowned Miss Sheffield - Galaxy UK 2009/10 in September to win a place in the nationwide beauty pageant.
To make sure the Sheffield beauty looks her best Eleanor has been given full membership at Sheffield United's Gym Plus facilities at the Derek Dooley Community Centre, Crookes, in preparation for the Finals in Cheshire next March.
Former sports minister makes gym visit
Sheffield United's GymPlus at Copthorne Hotel Sheffield has joined in a nationwide campaign to encourage people to get fit and active.
As part of the fitness industry's contribution to the Government's Change4Life campaign, the MoreActive4Life scheme provides free access to trained exercise professionals and local clubs and leisure centres.
Sheffield MP and former Sports Minister Richard Caborn saw the campaign in action when he visited GymPlus at Copthorne Hotel Sheffield to learn more about it and get involved with some of the activities available.
